The bet365 Stadium built a reputation during Stoke City's Premier League years as one of the most intimidating away trips in England. The open setting and the wind make for cold nights, and the support is known for its loud, sustained backing. The ground was opened in 1997 by club legend Sir Stanley Matthews.
Stoke City have a loyal support from the Potteries, the region around Stoke-on-Trent known for its pottery industry. When it is full, the atmosphere is outspoken.
For a visitor, Stoke-on-Trent is easy to reach by train, with a shuttle bus to the ground on matchdays. Tickets for ordinary league matches are available fairly regularly; for the top games it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The bet365 Stadium is on the south-east side of Stoke-on-Trent, near the A50. From Stoke-on-Trent station, on the main line between Manchester and London, it is about two miles; on matchdays a shuttle bus runs from the station every five minutes. City bus line 20 also runs via the station towards the ground. By car the ground is easy to reach via the A50.
At Stoke City, official hospitality is based in the lounges and business areas of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. For a corporate guest or a group, that is the comfortable way to experience a match at the bet365 Stadium.
Come well before kick-off and travel by train to Stoke-on-Trent, from where a shuttle bus runs to the ground on matchdays. Bring an ID, and dress warm, as it can be bleak. If you want to make a day of it, the pottery works and museums of the Potteries in the area are well worth a visit.
For ordinary league matches there is availability fairly often. For the top games they go faster; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
